The Scargo Tower is in the village of Dennis, MA. It is the third tower, the first two
were built of wood. First one was destroyed by strong winds, possibly a hurricane. The
second one burned. This one opened in 1901, and is made of cobblestone, a paving stone.
My late husband, & I used to visit there quite often.

There are five historic Cape Cod lighthouses open to the public from Memorial Day
to Labor Day.

Cape Cod Ntl. Seashore stretches over 43,000 acres of dunes, ponds, woods,
and almost 40 miles of Atlantic Shoreline.
My late husband used to love to go there & walk on the boardwalk. This was in Dennis Village, MA
